Fay Passes her Certificate in Procurement and Supply

At Variohm we are firm believers in on the job training and studying while working. And we have many employees who have passed qualifications with us or who are still training.

Fay, one of our Assistant Buyers, has recently passed her Level 2 Certificate in Procurement and Supply with the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

How the Certificate in Procurement and Supply Helped Fay with her job role

Fay has been working at Variohm for over ten years and has been working in our purchasing department since 2009 so she has a lot of experience with our purchasing system. Completing the Certificate in Procurement and Supply has helped to broaden her knowledge and given her a greater understanding of purchasing in general.

Variohm supported Fay through this qualification by paying for her course and any books and materials required. We also supported her through her exams, allowing her time off to sit them.

Fay chose to study from home and is considering continuing her studying through the levels that lead to the Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply.

We think it is important to offer our employees a chance to study whilst at work and complete further training. It keeps everyone up-to-date with any changes within the industry or their profession. Our employees then have all the skills they need for their job roles, and to introduce the best practices to our company.
