Variohm at Autosport International.

Autosport International is an exhibition we attend annually. We always find it to be worth our while.

This year, we took our exhibition stand up to the NEC Birmingham to attend this iconic Autosport event and as always, we had a great time. We have been attending this show for over 14 years.

We think that Autosports International does a good job of bringing everyone together in one event, so we get the opportunity to speak to existing customers as well as new customers whilst getting to see what is new in the industry.

Our Products at Autosport International

As always, our combined pressure and temperature transducers generated lots of interest at Autosport International, we find these products to be popular among this industry due to their compact size and ability to multitask. When space is tight, having one sensor to measure two things can make a lot of difference.

 Our ELPM and VXP position sensors are also always a hit with Motorsport customers. These linear transducers have been specifically designed to perform in extreme conditions and have been well proven in the Motorsport industry.

Our new temperature probes were also very popular at Autosport International; these have been designed to be particularly suitable for demanding temperature monitoring applications on vehicles.

Our new Euro XPD non contacting Rotary sensor also generated lots of interest. This is another of our sensors which has been designed with Motorsport applications in mind. It is compact and offers IP68 protection.

Our Apprentices at Autosport International.

Our apprentices Jordan and Nathan are in their third year of study of their Engineering qualification. This year, they were both able to attend Autosport International, this is just one of the additional experiences we have been able to offer them within the past 12 months – see what else they have been up to here.

Jordan says “I really enjoyed the show, experiencing a more in depth look into how Sales are generated through face to face customer interactions. I also liked walking round the show, and seeing our sensors in their applications and then receiving good comments in regards to our sensors and the good value for money they are from our customers.”

More about Autosport International

This year was the 28^th year for Autosport International. This show is unique because it has two trade days and then a further two days for the general public. Autosport International is Europe’s largest indoor pre-season Motorsport event. It features the very latest in Motorsport, automotive and performance engineering technology.  It not only attracts businesses for networking but also Motorport enthusiasts have a chance to see the latest technologies, fastest cars and live action cars.
