Variohm Eurosensor; A Visit from ADZ

ADZ Nagano is one of our suppliers from Germany. They have been a supplier of ours for many years for pressure transducers.

In October 2015, we were visited by Volker Reinhard, the Senior Sales Manager from ADZ for our annual meeting. This year he also provided us with some product training.

Product Training from ADZ

We like to make sure that our product knowledge is up-to-date so that we can provide you with the most relevant and valuable advice when selecting products for your application. 

The product training from this meeting involved looking at the whole range of pressure transducers from ADZ.

There are some new pressure sensors, where the measuring cell is made from titanium. This is extremely useful for when the sensor is operating in extreme environments. It also increases the maximum pressure range up to 5000 bar.

ADZ have also developed some new electronics which gives us the option of increasing the response time on their standard sensors from 1kHz to 8kHz.

A Valuable Visit

The training was attended by Graham Pattison, Our Group Sales Director, Mark Rowbotham, our Pressure Sensor Salesman, Peter Williams, one of our Sales Managers, Tony Stoyles and Michel Spronk, Sales Engineers from Ixthus Instrumentation and Richard Kelley, our Engineering manager.

This was the first time that Tony and Michel from Ixthus have attended a meeting with ADZ, they found the product training beneficial, particularly learning about the typical applications ADZ products can be used in.

Graham Pattison says “It was great to catch up with Volker, we have worked with him for a few years and with ADZ for many more. The meeting was a great success and we are confident that with the new product developments presented to us, we are going to have a very successful 2016.”
