Variohm's Sales team is Expanding

As a company, we are very proud of our technical engineer sales team. This summer we expanded our team with the appointment of two new sales men focusing on different product areas.

Meet our new Recruits.

John Burton joined Variohm in June 2014, working alongside Pat Goodridge and Steve Carter on Position sensors. John will be your allocated sales engineer if you are located in the North West of Great Britain. He will be making regular visits to customers, so if you have an application please contact us to arrange a visit.

Mark Rowbotham joined Variohm in August 2014 and has been recruited for pressure sensors.  All of our UK pressure customers will be looked after by Mark. This is a new way of organising for us – Pressure and Position have always been grouped together – so our sales engineers would be supporting position/pressure products; splitting them allows more attention to be given to each customer and even better, more focused product knowledge from our sales team. Contact Mark if you have a pressure enquiry using the contact details above.

What Expanding Our Sales Team Means for You.

Depending on what product area you are interested in and where you are based will effect which member of our qualified sales team will give you technical support and process your order. Expanding our sales team means all of our existing customers will be able to have more attention, where required. It will also give our sales team more time to find new customers.

So if you have a new or existing application and require advice or technical information contact us for dedicated support and expert product knowledge.

What Expanding our Sales Team Means for us.

Recruiting two new sales engineers means lots of product training. We are confident that our sales engineers can answer any technical questions which could arise from a customer looking for a sensor. Expanding the sales team means we need to get the newer members up to the same high standard of product knowledge, this involves both in house training from the sales managers, as well as getting out on the road with other members of the sales team. We also receive regular product training from our suppliers.

Having to recruit more sales engineers shows that we are successful in what we do. We have worked hard to build our reputation of being experts in the field, in building our sales team we are expanding as a company and moving forward.

We are currently looking to fill three more sales positions, take a look at the Vacancy section of our website here.
