Here at Variohm we value our employees and find that a very important part of our culture is to recruit the right people.

We are passionate in developing people into our team and having them as part of our family. We recognise that our members of staff become the key to delivering fantastic customer service

Who Are The Right People To Recruit?

We are recruiting more frequently as we expand and grow. We know that there is no such thing as one-size-fits all when it comes to recruiting, however the attitude of the applicant plays the biggest part for us, it’s important to us to recruit people who fit in with our culture. The main two things we look for to ensure we recruit the right people are;

·   People who want to work hard to deliver great service – to both customers and other staff members.

·   People who want to develop skills

When We Have Recruited The Right People…

We offer great opportunities for training to our staff members on a regular basis. From one day intense training courses such as; telephone courses, minute taking courses, first aid courses and IT courses, through to NVQ’s; in business and admin, managing skills and more – we have a good relationship with training providers who come and visit us on a regular basis. We also offer Degrees, Certificates and other longer courses where members of staff will commit to distance learning, evening classes or day release.

We offer this training to people to give them to tools to thrive in their current roles and open doors for greater responsibility. We need to recruit the right people who are committed to wanting to progress. Retaining the right people is also important to us which is why we like to offer people a chance to progress within the company if hard work and commitment is shown.

The Importance of Recruiting The Right People

Recruiting the right people is important for everyone. Most of all, we want our members of staff to enjoy working with us and being part of our family. Lots of our employees have been working with us for over ten years – and some even longer than that.
