Variohm at the MIA Event; Motorsport to Automotive

Variohm recently attended the MIA Event; Motorsport to Automotive initiative at the British Motor Museum adjacent to the JLR Gaydon site. The event was aimed at bringing Motorsport suppliers and their technology to the Jaguar Land Rover Engineers.

We focused our stand towards sensors related to automotive applications for position, temperature and pressure.

Some of the products we had available were our Non-Contacting range; many of these have simple mounting and offer long life.

Our Combined Pressure and Temperature range; these are well suited to applications where space is tight as these sensors measure both pressure and temperature. Depending on your requirements, the temperature probe is either internal or external to the transducer.

Our temperature probes also featured on our stand. Some of these are manufactured in house and have customisable options depending on your requirements.

What we thought of the MIA Event; Motorsport to Automotive.

Our Sales Manager Pat Goodridge and Sales Engineer Sav Cannata were on the Variohm stand. Pat commented:

“We have attended several types of these events with the MIA and we find them beneficial to both ourselves and the potential customers, because it allows them the flexibility of visiting the show at a time that suits them without impacting too much on their working day. These focused events mean that as the exhibitor we meet the relevant Engineers. For the Engineers they get to see the technology first hand and with Variohm’s experience in design of custom & bespoke solutions, delivering a Sensor tailored to the customer’s exact application needs.”

This MIA event was open to MIA members only. The MIA is the Motorsport Industry Association; they are the world’s leading trade association for Motorsport, high performance engineering and tuning sectors. For more information about the MIA take a look at their website.
