Variohm and Ixthus achieve 2015 ISO approvals for quality standards and environmental management

Variohm and Ixthus achieve 2015 ISO approvals for quality standards and environmental management: Accreditation for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015

Variohm EuroSensor, the leading sensor and transducer manufacturer, distributor and supply chain partner announces its accreditation for the ISO 9001:2015 quality management standard as well as ISO14001:2015 for environmental management systems. The implementation and award of these approvals also includes Variohm’s sister company, Ixthus Instrumentation, who provide design and build of customised test and measurement systems. Both companies are part of the Acal plc group and share the same location near Towcester-UK.

The accreditation highlights Variohm and Ixthus’ determination to consistently provide their customers with products and services that achieve the highest standards and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as signpost their strong focus on positive environmental practice and responsibility.

The new ‘2015’ approvals are a part of an integrated series of standards that not only centre on continuous improvement - as have previous generation standards - but also place priority on risk assessment and risk-based thinking.

Graham Pattison, the group managing director, sums up the importance of the awards for Variohm and Ixthus. “These new approvals follow continued investment in our manufacturing systems, our staff and facilities. They underpin the forward looking values that are instilled throughout our leadership and management teams and to every member of staff – helping us to deliver excellence in our products and services.”

The scope of activities for both approvals, for both Ixthus and Variohm EuroSensor, covers the supply of sensors, transducers and complete systems to measure displacement, force, torque and vibration.
