A compressed force when used on a Wheatstone Bridge, Strain Gauge circuit load cell will cause relative changes resulting in an electrical output measured to a fine degree of accuracy.
Load cell mounts can be used to provide the correct mechanical set up in order to attain the safest and the most precise results in application.
Compression loads cells are often durable, reliable and have the following benefits:
Compact – Compression load cells can be compact and low profile, they are therefore suitable for applications where space is limited.
High capacity loads– The small size of a compression load cell doesn’t compromise the capacity – most of the compression load cells we can offer have a maximum capacity of 50t but we also have some which go up to 150t, 200t and 280t.
Highly accurate – With high accuracy in comparison to the capacity they are well suited to applications in scales. When used with specific mounts or rocker pin sets they are able to measure off-centre loads, this also helps with the accuracy of the load cell.
