Our range of waterproof switches comes from our sister company CPI. CPI waterproof switches perform impeccably even under harsh environmental conditions where traditional splashproof, weatherproof, or wash-down resistant sealed components may not be suitable.

Waterproof Switches

CPI switches are truly waterproof, totally submersible.  They are suitable for use in military and industrial environments.

CPI switches use a basic snap action contact mechanism and are small, flat and lightweight. Both the switch itself and the lead wires are encased in thermoplastic rubber to ensure they are fully waterproof. They can withstand temperatures from -65°F up to 221°F. we offer several waterproof switch platforms with many options for customisation.

CPI Waterproof switches are proven reliable in harsh-duty applications where they are exposed to water, oil, humid environments, dust, dirt, sand, shock and vibration as well as high temperatures.

Types of Waterproof Switches

The different types of waterproof switches are can offer are;

Plunger Switches – These can be customised with heat sinks, special actuators and travel parameters, aswell as custom mounting specifications. IP68 rated.

Momentary Switches – pendant style and completely submersible with momentary operating principle and offering long life.

Maintained Contact Switches – pendant style, ideal for power cycling applications in harsh environments.

Ball Switches – well suited to critical military and industrial applications. Constructed of stainless steel and have a ball carrier seal for unmatched reliability over long life.

Limit Switches – truly waterproof, constructed of stainless steel and designed for applications requiring extremely high endurance.  Countless bracket/actuator variations available.

Waterproof Switch Panels – excellent resistance to both high and low temperature extremes. Well suited to applications with exposure to acids, alkalis, salt spray, fungus, sand and dust/dirt.

CPI Waterproof Switches

CPI waterproof switches are specifically designed for applications involving control and sensing in outdoor equipment and devices. There are different options for actuation including by hand or using one of our mounting brackets for a mechanical option.

CPI waterproof switches have the following unique advantages

  • High Endurance – these switches have proven high endurance with ratings as high as 5 million cycles.
  • Small in Size – these waterproof switches are perfect for fitting into tight spaces and have a variety of different mounting brackets so they are highly versatile.
