About COMPAMED

COMPAMED focuses on the medical sector. This year the trending topics for COMPAMED are; Miniaturisation – the continuation of devices becoming miniature and what the trends are within the industry. Quality Control – something we very strongly believe in here at Variohm, the show focuses on the certifications required for products to be used within the medical sector. We can provide products for use in the medical sector which are medically approved including the medical footswitches at Herga and our medical temperature probes. COMPAMED also focuses on material and product development.

Variohm and Herga Products at COMPAMED

We will be exhibiting our Variohm products including position sensors, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, load cells, weighing and force sensors and Herga products including; hand controls, foot switches and air switches. This year we have a new exciting product, for the first time we will also be exhibiting Herga’s New Footswitch which features a Bluetooth® smart closed network.    

Herga’s Range of Footswitches Featuring Bluetooth® Smart Closed Network

The Bluetooth® Smart Closed Network technology is now an available option on a wide range of Herga footswitches which can be used in the medical industry. The wireless technology involves a battery powered switch and a separate remote receiver. It provides a safe, economic low- power switching solution with up to five times more battery life than comparative manufacturer’s offerings.
